Das Ziel der "Let's Groove Masterclass” von Giovanni Giorgi ist es, eine Unterrichtserfahrung zu schaffen, unabhängig vom Grad der Vorbereitung auf dem Instrument jedes einzelnen Teilnehmers. Die Lücken der Teilnehmer werden in Anspruch genommen, korrigiert und überprüft.
Die Teilnehmer entdecken die faszinierende Welt des Grooves, den Charme und die Aktualität des traditionellen Jazz, die Ausdrucksfreiheit von Bebop, Funk und Soul, die Alchemie zwischen Jazz und Rock in ihren aktuellsten Formen. Formen und Stile werden auch durch das Anhören von Musikaufnahmen vertieft.
Den Teilnehmern werden Übungen im PDF-Format zugewiesen, die später zu Hause durchgeführt werden können.
Diese Meisterklasse zielt darauf ab:
• Den Teilnehmern die notwendigen technischen Grundlagen zur Verfügung zu stellen, um das Erlernen moderner Sprachen unter allgemeinen Gesichtspunkten durchzuführen
• Ausarbeitung und Weiterentwicklung des zuvor Gelernten, um im Lernvorgang detaillierter vorzugehen, und Vorbereitung auf die sichere Bewältigung der eigenen Leistungen.
• Weitergabe von Ideen und musikalischen Konzepten an diejenigen, die bereits über gute technische Fähigkeiten und Live-Erfahrungen verfügen, um die maximale Leistung aus dem Lernen bestimmter Themen zu erzielen.

"Let’s Groove Masterclass" is an idea of Giovanni Giorgi. The goal of the meeting is to create an educational experience that allows the teacher to focus on each individual regardless of their level of preparation. He will focus on the deficiencies of the students in order to correct them and verify the improvement during a possible next meeting. The course’s length is about 3 hours. You will discover the captivating world of groove, the fascination and actuality of traditional jazz, the expressive freedom of bebop, the funk and the soul, the alchemy between jazz and rock in its most current forms. Besides you will be able to deeper the knowledge of the languages and the styles listening to records of references. Students will be assigned pdf exercises to do at home.
The meetings aim to:
- Provide student with the technical basis necessary to undertake from a general point of view the study of modern languages
- Elaborate and develop what has been previously learned in order to proceed in a more detailed way in the study and to provide a preparation to face performances with self-confidence
- Impart to those who have already a good technical skills and live experiences ideas and musical concepts to get the most out of the study of specific topics.

GIOVANNI GIORGI
Nato a Saronno il 18 Marzo 1975, inizia a suonare la batteria in età molto precoce, grazie a suo padre, anch’egli batterista. Nel novembre 2017 viene invitato da Yamaha a Parigi in occasione di una Kermesse musicale dedicata al 50’ esimo anniversario della Yamaha Recording Custom, insieme ad alcuni dei più’ grandi batteristi del mondo quali Dave Weckl, Andre’ Ceccarelli, Josh Dion, Larnell Lewismusic, Derrick McKenzie, Nicolas Viccaro e molti altri (2008). “100 Ghosts” (2018)
